Who is a Good Candidate for a Facelift?
Good news if you are considering a facelift; it doesn’t require much to be an ideal candidate for this procedure. If you are at a point in your life where your face is showing signs of aging such as loss of skin tone in the lower portion of the face, creases below the eyelids and along the nose, sagging around the middle portion of the face and drooping fat, then schedule a consultation to speak with Dr. Philpott to discuss your options. The average age range for this procedure is 40 to 65 years of age and is beneficial for both men and women.
Make sure to review any health conditions that you have which could impact you during surgery. Dr. Philpott will evaluate your needs and your medical history to make sure to determine what is right for you. Since this surgery will require general anesthesia, Dr. Philpott will first make sure that you are healthy enough to undergo treatment. With any surgery, it is important to have a clear idea of your goals and set realistic expectations.
Are there Non-Surgical Facelift Options?
If a facelift surgery is not right for you or you are not a candidate for surgery in general, The Body Sculpting Center does have less invasive options to help you achieve a younger appearance. We offer laser skin resurfacing with the Erbium laser. The Erbium laser skin resurfacing is our treatment of choice because it achieves dramatic improvements and can be used for almost every skin type. This procedure successfully removes superficial lines to moderately deep wrinkles with less pain, fewer side effects, and a more rapid recovery than other treatments. The Erbium laser provides a milder and less invasive treatment option than other lasers.
