About Dr. Michael Schwartz
A board certified facial plastic surgeon, Michael Schwartz, M.D., has been practicing facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in Pasadena, California since 1990. He has been featured on local and national media discussing the latest techniques in facial plastic surgery, and he has been honored by his selection as one of America’s top doctors in the “2003 Guide to
Top Doctors.”
Dr. Schwartz has undergone extensive training as a cosmetic surgeon. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry in 1978 from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, he went on to earn his M.D. in 1982 from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. He then completed two years of internal medicine training at the LAC/USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, followed by five years of training in head and neck surgery at the University of Southern California, and an additional one year of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery training at the University of Illinois.
Dr. Schwartz has the distinction of being a clinical assistant professor of facial plastic surgery at the University of Southern California, where he now passes his knowledge along to its residents. He has also recently completed two years’ service as Chief of Surgery at Pasadena’s St. Luke’s Medical Center. Dr. Michael Schwartz is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS) and the American Board of Otolaryngology. |
